Well maybe you could try to eat/drink what will help to keep your body in an alkaline state. You can look those lists up online for alkaline foods vs acidic foods. I know lemon in water is a good drink that helps to do that. Omit or limit sugary foods and drinks. If you have high stress levels use Ashwagandha and/or Rhodiola to help your body deal with it. I would limit any foods that cause you heartburn. Eat small amounts but more often, as eating too much at once can cause problems too. All things in moderation. Since I cut back on my nighttime eating and on sugary foods, I hardly get heartburn anymore. Don’t take things like Advil, Aleve or Excedrin or Aspirin unless it’s with food. They were probably the main cause of my Barrett’s. I took a ton of them in my young adult years due to being in pain a few days of every week of my life (now I have it everyday and every night, yay). I got Barrett’s at 45 and I thought that was young. So you are way too young! That’s awful. But thankfully it was caught before it turned worse. Do you smoke? I don’t but I know it can also contribute to the damage. Hope some of this helps. Feel free to write if you have any questions or need help finding alkaline /acidic charts. ~Mary

I was diagnosed only a year ago at 24, I have a hiatus hernia too, which is what caused the Barratts, no advice on weight loss sadly but you're not alone in the young diagnosis 💕
