For me Abilify and Lamictal have been absolute miracles for me. I've been on a lotttt of different medications and those two together have worked really well for me. I have depression, anxiety, and DMDD and they've worked really well for me.

I personally don't believe in medicine. It's hard to self manage but after 34 years I'm finally starting to get the hang of it some

I have anxiety, adhd, and bp2. I have a bad reaction to SSRI’s. Prozac wasn’t horrible, I just felt pretty numb. Lexapro was the worst I’ve ever felt in my life. However, Prozac and Lexapro work and do amazing things for A LOT of people so don’t let that scare you away. Mood stabilizers had been the most helpful. I didn’t like lamictal. I had horrible brain fog and basically felt like I had a lobotomy. I’m on topamax now. the side effects are rough at first but it’s the best I’ve felt in years, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything! As far as adhd meds go I hated vyvanse, and didn’t care for adderall xr. I take adderall ir 3x per day

Im currently taking Venlafaxine (other name Effexor) and it’s working pretty well for me to help with mood. I took Viibryd for a while, and that worked well as a medication for me too: had to switch because for a bit it wasn’t covered by my insurance. For ADHD right now I’m taking Straterra. To be fair, everyone is different and ur reaction to certain meds may be different or even depend on the dosage.

i'm on trazodone for my anxiety! i've gone through most of the SSRI/SNRI's, and my doctor was getting kind of scared of the reactions i was having, so we decided they wouldn't work for me. i'm not sure what trazodone is classified as, but it's the only thing that has worked. you need to eat before you take it, though, because on an empty stomach it WILL come back up

As far as antidepressants go- my sweet spot is a mix of Prozac and Wellbutrin. Pristiq wasn't too bad either. In terms of antipsychotics that help depression/anxiety for me- Risperdal is so great. For anxiety meds- Prozac is the only thing that helped my OCD/anxiety very significantly. As well as Hydroxyzine for mild anxiety and Klonopin for panic. Mood stabilizer for depression- Lamictal is good. Suicidal thoughts- although there are many negatives to it too, I found lithium was a lifesaver- worked when I needed it to, but long term I finally got off of it (killer side effects but super effective) I don't think this applies to you but for ADHD- Vyvanse was life-changing. Vyvanse and Prozac are my miracle meds, wouldn't function without them. Meds are diff for everyone but in these categories, for me, these are the most effective. Good luck finding your cocktail!!

lithium is amazing 🙏🙏🙏 even tho it gives me cystic acne and destroyed my ability to remember things cymbalta was pretty nice, it was defo helpful for pain but it kinda just made me numb I *thought* wellbutrin was a wonder drug... until it launched me into the worst manic episode I've ever experienced and of course I cant forget abt the loml, ✨naproxen✨, making my pain more manageable since 2010 lmao those are the 4 out of the pharmacy of meds I've taken that really stick out to me

what is it about mood stabilizers that just fries your memory? Topamax hasn’t been as bad as far as memory for me, but I do feel a bit ditzy sometimes lol

Effexor worked WONDERS for me as far as depression and anxiety!!! However, titrating off of it was horrible. It was worth it though, if you know going into the withdrawal what to expect (no sleep for about a week, shock feelings in my limbs and core. Not painful, just annoying honestly) Vistaril and Xanax for panic attacks- I’ve been on vistaril as needed for panic attacks for about 2 years but it makes me so sleepy… took it last week and slept 12 hours!! So just got prescribed the lowest dose of Xanax to try. Haven’t needed it yet. And this isn’t a medication, but exercise has helped a lot. It makes me feel more in control and stronger. Better able to take on whatever life throws at me!! There’s an app called “balance” on iPhone (unsure about android) and they’re offering free for 1 year. It’s meditation and stress relief, and honestly pretty good. I downloaded it earlier this week.

I'm taking Venlafaxine which I love so much, Abilify, Lamitical, and Buspirone and they have been a pretty good combination. I had severe anxiety over everything and now I can't even remember the last time I had anxiety and instead of having severe depression it's just little bouts of sadness here and there! I've tried Seroquel and Zoloft which I had a bad reaction to both but I've heard they have helped others!

Celexa (citalopram) worked best for me. Didn't totally fix the depression/anxiety, but definitely stabilized my mood swings and took the edges off. I'm super prone to serotonin syndrome though so we never upped my dose

Did work: Amitriptyline, duoloxetine, propanolol, Spirolactone Didn't work: Fluoxetine, Sentraline, Desvenalfaxine. Didn't work because I got addicted and have now sobered up (18mths): endone, Codeine, Lyrica, Seroquel
