I have BED and when I was first diagnosed with CD my brain went into overdrive. I would sneak foods I shouldn’t eat etc. I don’t know what the issue is l, but when I’m told I can’t have something, I crave it more. It took me years to get a handle on it and that was only because my symptoms from gluten exposure because more significant and severe. To this day I’ll sneak things here and there and hate myself for it. I wish I could get a handle on it all. 😥

Hmmm. I got really depressed and felt such a great loss over the things I could no longer eat. As time goes on it doesn’t even make me blink. I don’t miss breads or pastas. I find gf versions I can live with if I want.

I have disordered eating and was just diagnosed with celiacs 2 weeks ago. part of it was definitely the adhd but another part of it I think was my body wanting a rest and so my hunger signals were out of wack. I think it might just be a symptom

YEEEES. I gained over 100 pounds after the diagnosis because I just ate everything possible that wouldn’t make me sick.

I had my ED diagnosis before celiacs. But it made it hard to get a celiacs diagnosis because they thought I was making up stomach pains so I wouldn’t have to eat.

YES!!! I had Binge Eating Disorder when I was 5 until I got diagnosed at 15. Since my diagnosis, I never get hungry, I eat maybe once a day, and I don’t binge because I only have so many snacks that I can eat in comparison to my boyfriend, so I just kinda don’t.
