Depression and Medication: Can You Still Feel It?

I feel like I'm in a depressive episode but I can't fully feel it because of the meds. But my body still knows it's supposed to be depressed. Does that make sense?

Yes, I call it a breakthrough depressive episode, I get them from time to time. I’m on meds and I feel depressed but not fully but still suffer from MANY depression symptoms during these times. How’re you doing today? What do you feel like now? I hope you are doing okay. 🫶🏻

I mostly feel like there's a weight holding me down and I'm uninterested in everything. Today I'm okay though. Thank you for asking and sharing.
