Get referrals from your coworkers. Ask who they're seeing. You aren't bound to your GP. You can and probably should find someone else. Finding a doctor should be like finding the best fitting most comfortable attire... if you are questioning the quality of your healthcare, move around. You'll know when you're in the right place. Just like you know when you aren't... (like you do now) Is it going to be a pain in the ass? Probably. Will it be worth the effort? You won't know until you try, but I'd say without a doubt, absolutely! Kinda depends on your attitude and level of persistence though... don't get discouraged from any bullshit or the assholes that try to convince you of it.
