I had a few months of irregular, heavy periods, before getting my diagnosis, I wish someone would have connected the two earlier… I do have to say that after I started my replacement drugs, it got much better and quickly!

Mine were SO IRREGULAR!! I’d have some that lasted 3 days and others that lasted about 14 days. Then I could go from 2 weeks to 3 months without anything! Then I would suddenly start spotting for a few days and just as suddenly it would stop. Cramps were always a crap-shoot as well. I could have extended periods with minimal pain or short ones with cramps so bad, I couldn’t even get out of bed!! But once I started taking birth control and reigning in my thyroid with Levothyroxine, things got very regular very quick! Now it’s every 28 days for 3-5 days, and the cramps are pretty standard but not unmanageable

Mine are never consistent and since starting an anti depressant as well as taking levothyroxine, it hasn't gone away in about 3 months 😭
