Depends on the situation but I'll put stuff that ik will be in my way. Need to take something with you? Either put in it something you KNOW you'll be taking (like a purse) or put it in your way (like in front of the door)

I really like cute pens and stationery, so I set up a planner I really like! I spend a little extra on things to make using it fun, which is helpful (Unfortunately isn’t working out in my current work situation but when I’m not walking 2-3 miles a day just running back and forth in my office 4 days a week. Maybe this is not a good thing to recommend )

AH okay- use Command hooks to hang things at your eye level wherever you need to see it. Wherever you dump things as soon as you get home, make that The Spot. One thing at a time. :)

Normally, I just have to write things down. Post it notes are KEY. Putting something by the door, with bag or whatever your taking. Reminders on phone. Alexa. Computer.

If this is about items, what really helped me was creating a space for literally everything and doing my absolute best to NEVER just place anything down and ALWAYS put it back. But it's hard if you don't have the space or the storage.

If you're on/connected to your phone a lot, keeping an open note or saving a few types of lists and using reminders thru your phone. Also if you need to break things into smaller pieces (like laundry for instance- break it down to a list of wash, dry, fold, put away clothes and/or sheets) I find it helps a lot. And I also swear by the tiimo app. It allows you to break down tasks and move things to another day if you don't finish. And set lists for daily/weekly/monthly tasks. It is really helpful.
