Living with Anxiety and Depression: Seeking Advice from Those Further Along

Looking for anyone who is further into living with anxiety / depression and panic attacks than me. I’ve battled them all on and off for the last 10 years. I always find it encouraging when someone is many years past me. If thats you, please let me know what’s worked for you. Have you found way to still enjoy your life despite it? And what’s something you’d tell someone earlier in there journey?

Hi I am around the 10 year mark with anxiety and I feel my depression is not as bad as many people. But I actually believe I have found something that has rid me of my anxiety almost completely. I made a post about it about a week ago. Some otc things called Bioflavonoids. After about a month of taking them and nothing else for my anxiety specifically I had a doctor visit that would normally have me stressed a week in advanced and so anxious the night before and day of. But when it came around there was no problem for the first time in years. I researched the pills and their connction to anxiety and found there was a study done in 2019 that wasnt fully looked at till 2022 for their effects on anxiety and depression. I got my dad and sister to start taking them daily and while neither of them have shown anxiety or depression my dad says he thinks they have improved his memory. My sister stopped taking them because she thinks they made her use the restroom to often. I personally bought them on amazon for like $30 and its a 200 capsule bottle. Suggested serving size is 2 caps a day but I only take one. Also the study stated that the effect on anxiety was noticed for roughly 50mg doses and above. The capsules I have are 700mg each so a hald recomended dose is well above the thresh hold. I highly recomend them but of course look into new pills and consult doctors as needed.
