SNRIs like Effexor and Cymbalta have withdrawal symptoms. For me, even when tapering carefully. If you want to get off of them, gradually reduce the dose with your prescriber. Feeling weird and mildly sick for a day or two was my experience, a drag while starting a new job, but not the worst thing I've felt. Do what you can to strengthen your mood and body and expect some withdrawal symptoms 💕

I'm comming off mine slowly starting tomorrow (Drs advice) while starting on a replacement (that will hopefully come with less fatigue 😩) but am anticipating it being a rough change

Im doing that atm with venlafaxine, but after prior experiences i know that i am going to need a lifelong dose. Atm i know my level is somewhere between 75-150mg daily. Been lowering it to that level over a few months and i am sensitive to even slight drops so its been gradual while my GP has supervised.
