Morning Nausea and Loss of Appetite

Okay, I have no idea what the deal is but the past few days I have been disgusted and nauseated when I wake up, I have to force myself to eat something in hopes I will feel better. Usually the nausea subsides some but lunch, but everything still sounds gross and I have no appetite, but I make myself eat a small meal. This goes on all day until about 11 at night and then it’s like a switch flips and I’m starving! My morning nausea started when I was having daily panic attacks so I though the two correlated, but I’m no longer having them so I’m not sure what is going on. (Also, no, no chance of pregnancy) I tried google (of course) with no answers. Any help?

I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and I think sometimes it has something to do with my appetite. I lost about 40lbs in 4 months from barely eating once a day and it wasn't from wanting to lose weight or drugs. I was just depressed. At some point I think my body started mistaking my "hunger pains" into feeling nauseous when I even thought of or smelt food. What's that called I wonder.

dang! Yeah I’ve struggled with depression most of my life (even though I didn’t know it lol) but I’ve never had an issue with hunger or appetite, I have a ridiculous digestive system and so many foods make me sick, but I was gonna eat regardless 😂 And now everyday I just have this wild rollercoaster of everything is disgusting, and sometimes I have pain as well, and then boom night time I’m starving.. I’m like okay it’s a pattern, so what’s the deal? Basically I’m too curious for my own good 😂

I think there’s a huge correlation with depression/anxiety/mental health problems and digestive problems in general and that was my case! I thought I had so many food allergies or that I couldn’t digest food right and had reflux/nausea. Until I started treating my ADHD and anxiety and it magically went away!

Anxiety abs depression are cousins. Ppl become depressed because there were about all the symptoms of anxiety they are feeling. Let is to accept the feelings and let the thoughts come and go like clouds passing by. Once to start accepting abs giving your self permission to feel these feelings and have those thoughts turn anxiety will diminish. Reminder what you resist will pressure. Download this great audiobook that helped me and many other: The Dare Response. No I’m not affiliated in anyway. It’s just great proven techniques that works. It will stop ur panic attacks and feelings of anxiety. Or get the physical book from Amazon

I had that nausea feeling all of the time too. I’m taking meds for depression. A couple of years ago I was sent to a specialist who tested my gut. I have gastroparesis. I’m supposed to eat several small meals throughout the day. I had a virus twenty years ago similar to Covid. Our gut health is really something that we all need to take care of.

I am also eating small meals every few hours, it definitely helps, and less binging. Plus I think I’m finally starting to learn what actually being full feels like and not stuffed. I will say now that I’ve not been having daily panic attacks my nausea is less, but it’s not gone. Mornings in general are just hard for me with this anxiety, I know google says cortisol is highest in the morning but damn!
