Morning Pain: Anybody Else?

I've been having an issue where every morning about an hour after I wake up I start having pretty extreme pain that lasts all day. I was wondering if anybody else experiences this and if there's a good scientific explanation as to why even if I wake up and no pain without fail an hour later I'm in pain?

Maybe it's to do with gravity, do you have hypermobility?

I do also have hypermobility. That is such a good point! It's more all over flu like body aches, can that also be caused by hypermability?

it's a all over pain, The worst of it is in my back legs and hands. It's kind of like a flu like body ache. It's very dull but sometimes I'll get random sharp pains in my legs. I'm almost always in pain except for that one hour in the morning, sending ya some virtual support 🫶

It sounds like a flare-up. Many of us get them. It's hurtful, but can be an experience you may want to keep for discussion with your dr.

hyper-mobility is a lifelong progressive connective tissue disorder. People who have it have extra flexible joints, and in more severe cases elasticity of the skin. For example, their fingers can bend backward, some far enough to touch the top of their wrist, and their elbows and knees can hyper extend. It can cause problems anywhere in the body where there is connective tissue.

I have the same thing but for me, it is my chronic migraine. For roughly the last decade, the migraine waits until i wake and then comes on. Imitrex+excedrin+ibuprofen is my friend. Imitrex keeps it away, Occasionally, the migraine starts at 4am instead. It gets such a head start that i am very thankful for the ones that are an hour after waking.
