Natural remedies for acid reflux?

Does anyone take anything naturally for their acid reflux instead of medicine? And if you take medicine, does it help with the reflux when you’re drinking coffee I can’t drink coffee anymore without making me nauseous right away and it’s very upsetting because I used to drink coffee all the time and now I can’t or even . ice black tea.

Not a supplement, but I find it helps to eat some plain carbs like crackers or bread when I can. It seems to sort of "soak up" the excess acid

Mostly just eating foods that help balance it out, whole grains work the best so coffee and oatmeal or pancakes or similar foods could be a good match assuming you drink it/ want to drink it the most around breakfast. Also root vegetables help and some people have had luck with greens.

simple, filling carbs helped when I stopped being able to afford my medication. I can't have gluten so I get these little par-cooked microwave sticky rice things at Costco, or I'll make a whole pot of rice if I've woken up with some sick nasty heartburn and I'll eat it over the course of the day. I also get calcium carbonate chews, not the chalky tablets that make my soul nauseous. they're more of a mentos texture if you prefer that over sidewalk chalk

Getting the proper fiber reduces acid reflux, as well as helping all kinds of other issues! I use just a tsp of psyllium husk powder every morning mixed in a smoothie or juice. It's a powder made from dried mushrooms, very high in fiber. You can find it on Amazon!
