Dealing with Spam Accounts on Social Media

Not linked to any illness - but does anyone else get those spam accounts message you? The ones that say “you’re so beautiful, let’s move to WhatsApp” 😂 I’ve started to play with them as I can’t help but think how wrong it is that they message potentially very vulnerable people - many very young people - that use this app to connect with people who struggle like them.

Is there some way to report them? How the heck do they know what you look like. This is literally one of the scummiest places to try to pick someone up..only topped by like, elementary schools. So many people disgust me.

yeah there is - I don’t know how effective it is though. I always report and block ❤️ and I literally said that to the last one haha! I was like “how can you call me beautiful when I’m on an anonymous app with a cartoon face fool” 😂
