Painful Coccyx Tailbone in Hypermobility - Seeking Advice

@ My hypermobility friends My coccyx tailbone area has been feeling painful and weird for a couple of weeks. It clicks, clunks and grinds a lot, it feels like it's not in the right place or something isn't connected properly... πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’« Anyone else have an issue like this, could it be subluxation or misalignment? I see my rhuemetologist next week but eekers.

DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the same, exact thing I have been trying to explain to my Drs for months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the CLICKING, CRUNCHING, GRINDING, POPPING! IT FIRST STARTED, OR I FIRST NOTICED IT, WHEN I WAS ON THE TOILET AND BENT SIDEWAYS TO WIPE. EVERY TIME AFTER WHEN I DID THAT MOTION, IT WOULD CLICK AND POP LIKE IT WAS SWITCHING GEARS! CLICK CLICK, CLICK CLICK, GOING BACK AND FORTH, FROM ONE SIDE, TO THE OTHER! JUST AS EASY AS IF SOMEONE WAS FLICKING A LIGHT SWITCH UP AND DOWN AND UP AND DOWN! IT HURTS SO BAD AND IT DRIVES ME NUTS! AT THIS POINT I CAN DO IT ON COMMAND AND THE SOUND IS EXTRA LOUD SO THE NEXT TIME I GO TO THE DOCTORS HE WILL DEFINITELY HEAR IT! YOU ARE IN MY PRAYERS BECAUSE I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH MY BROTHER OR SISTER!πŸ’•πŸ™β€οΈβ€οΈπŸ€—πŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ˜³πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ˜³πŸ˜³πŸ™πŸ½πŸ˜«πŸ˜«πŸ˜«πŸ˜«πŸ˜«πŸ™€πŸ€―πŸ€£

Yes!!!!!!!! This is EXACTLY what I am going through!!! It’s been 5 years now!!! I have to use a coccyx cushion EVERYWHERE I go because it is too painful to sit without it!!! I’ve have a nerve block test to see if it would help the pain, but it made it soooo much worse! I’ll never get that again. I’m on a Butrans patch, but I’m still in SO much pain. No doctor can figure it out. I seriously feel like it dislocates all the time causing lots of pain not only at the coccyx itself, but the surrounding muscles. I’ve done physical therapy and it didn’t help. I wish I could figure out what is going on to get it fixed!!!

I had to have the nerves around my tailbone burned off so I was able to sit or lay down but I still have issues sometimes.

I sometimes get this feeling in my hip or ankles! It’s so random isn’t it. I described it to my husband as feeling like β€œsnap, crackle, and pop” the cereal lol

πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ isn't it so funny guys, with the things that we go through and the way that we try to explain them to other people who just don't get it! I tried to explain this particular one like a grinding gear that is stuck and then when you shift it and it finally shifts from that gear that was stuck to the one you were trying to get it into, but mixed with switching the light on and off. And you just see their face like... πŸ˜³πŸ€―πŸ˜³πŸ€―πŸ˜³πŸ€―πŸ˜³πŸ€―πŸ˜³πŸ€―πŸ˜³πŸ€―πŸ™€πŸ˜‚

Yeah I get this in my coccyx and at the top of my neck and my sternum. Weird places that I feel like shouldn’t click and clunk πŸ˜‚

Yes. I see a myopractor to get it readjusted and put back in place.
