Seeking Guidance for Skin Care

I can’t wait for my dermatologist appointment, but I’m also scared. I want actual guidance to heal my skin, not a magic medicine shot. I just wish I knew what to do about my skin

Eucrisa helped me a lot with eczema, other than that antibiotics for acne

i used this on my eczema and ended up being allergic to the point i was in urgent care with hives and put on steroids ;(

yeah I want to get rid of my eczema instead of trying to ward it off 🤺

I didn't feel that my dermatologist was all that helpful so I went to an immunologist instead and had a better experience.

There's a subreddit called r/skincareaddiction. A lot of people there post their stories, what treatments are working for them, suggestions for what you can do for your skin, etc. I would recommend taking a look there too :)

My previous experience with a dermatologist wasn't amazing. A lot of the time they kept insisting I take steroids rather than focussing on the underlying issues. However, I did find that zinc oxide bandages can help but they can be pretty awkward using
