Struggling with Body Issues and Weight Loss

So I have struggled with body issues for as long as I can remember and even when I did 2 sports, I was overweight. I’m turning 18 and will be 215 lbs and I do NOT like that. There are days that I do love myself, but I just really want to lose weight and In a healthy way. The lightest I’ve ever been was 170 and it was because I starved myself. I’ve tried various diets and meal plans but they get expensive and way too time consuming to keep up with. And it’s hard to keep a routine with my ADHD and how severely unmotivated I am 😭 I saw that planet fitness was free for teens recently and I REALLY want to work out but I’m the type of person to lose motivation SUPER quickly. Any tips to stay on top of it? Or exercises to help lose weight?

tracking your progress can be motivating- how far you're running, how much you're lifting, etc., there are also a lot of habit tracker apps out there that gamify it a bit- I use Finch and it's really cute! I would really encourage you to focus on what you can do rather than how much you weigh, though. it's hard, but it's helped me feel a lot better long term, because I know fatphobic beauty standards aren't values I want to hold

I have been very insecure of my body lately. I look in the mirror & I just think I look big. My double chin, stomach, & arms are my biggest insecurities. I've tried to lose weight but I always fail. I have thyroid issues & im on birth control which doesnt help. When I was extremely depressed I lost 10 pounds in a week cause I starved myself cause of how nauseous I was. Sometimes I want that back which I know I shouldn't. I just want to feel good & confident in my body.
