I’ve also heard the same from my doctor. Out of pocket expense is about $3000 w insurance for me, so I haven’t done it yet. Several people I know had great results from an ablation.

Do not do ablation. It burns over the top of the endometriosis and leaves it all behind to grow. You’ll be suffering for it and the next surgeon will need to fix that mistake. If anyone in this modern day mentions “ablation”, run. Trust me. Find an “excision” surgeon. Join Nancy’s Nook on Facebook, they have an international list of vetted surgeons. I was a very advanced case Stage IV and my excision surgeon Dr. Camran Nezhat did an amazing job. I’m three weeks post op and feel amazing and have all my anatomy in tact.

Agreed💯 I had excision in 2020 but unfortunately my symptoms are returning. Trying some natural options w a homeopathic doctor to slow down re-growth.

You need full excision surgery with a good surgeon. Check website Icarebetter, they have the best surgeons in the US. Which will avoid you to get recurring surgeries
