Need advice on Acroxia for fibromyalgia

Does anyone take Acroxia / Etorivoxib for fibromyalgia? I saw a rheumatologist yesterday who prescribed this but I’m scared to take it because I find the possible effects worrying!

Has anything else worked for your pain?

I’m currently on a cocktail of things that do help a bit, but recently my pains have been worse again especially in the cold. Annoyingly I have tried gabapentin and Amitriptyline in the past which have not been good for me

I've just started taking Lyrica and it's made a big difference compared to gabapentin, which I was on for many years.

ooh, I’ve read a lot about this on forums but it’s never been mentioned to me before in the UK

I previously tried pregablin it suited me however caused me weight gain and this made me depressed so I changed back to gabapentin. Thing is with medications everyone reacts differently it may suit you and you'll be fine. If not stop taking it and go back to your doctor.

I took that for years and it helped me! However, it can make stomach issues worse, and it's not a good medication for long term use x
