Need help staying awake with Adderall

I am having trouble staying awake even with my Adderall. My sleep cycle is off too. Anyone have any suggestions?

Me too… I’m following your thread, also looking for advice. …and I’m on adderall too. Because of this, friends/therapist /fellow sufferers suggested doing a sleep study. I will be doing a one in a couple of months, in which day 2 works on “figuring out” (or whatever they do 🤷🏻‍♀️) what is causing the daytime sleepiness.

Keep me posted. I sleep all day even with taking it.

I have had multiple sleep studies and finally getting much better after Bipap/CPAP therapy. Please note that pain meds like narcotics will change your brain and cause sleep apnea over time. I realize they can be necessary as I was on them for 20 years.

My shrink has me on 3 pills of 30mg @ 2x daily. So, 90mg @ 2x daily. I’ve been taking Adderall for over 20 years, though. Started with a 10mg pill once daily back then. It is the only thing that keeps me from feeling narcoleptic in the past, and now it barely does anything. I can easily sleep through my normal dose and sometimes more.
