Struggling with ADHD and Making Friends

I love this app because I actually don't have any friends ? I mean I have ADHD does anyone else have a hard time keeping friends. I love talking to people but I can't keep a friendship if you know what I mean. also it's called ADHD right ? so what would you name it instead because I believe we don't have attention issues we just have a hard time regulating our attention. I mean we hyper focus or we can't focus on crap haha 😂

I am in the same boat! I can't keep a friend either. I have been told either I'm to focused on little things that are annoying or too distant to relate. Since when did friendship get so hard? I mean give me those good ole kindergarten days where you just were friends and thats all you knew and cared about🤗

I think this is common which is so tough. Therapist sometimes can give advice on what to change and make improvements on that are specific to you personally.

I have the same issue with friends. For me, it's mostly because of my RSD. It really hurts though. Hopefully, it'll get better with time. ❤️

I'm with ya' on the love talking to people part of ADHD. It's also hard to keep in touch with newer friends. It's something I have to be actively aware of— but all it takes is one day for me to forget! D: I would keep it called ADHD. I don't think the problem so much is the abbreviation, moreso common folk don't read in depth of what ADHD is. So, either us ADHD peeps gotta educate them, or we make understanding ADHD more comprehensible while short.

It's hard to establish new friendships. I feel like I can be too much at first.
