Struggling with ADHD meds, looking for advice

Adderall, Ritalin, and Vyvanse all gave me horrific side effects that left me not feeling like myself and no relief from the ADHD. So i ditched trying meds and just manage it through lifestyle, but it can get really hard at times. What are other meds that have worked for y’all as well as other management tips you may have?

Routine and habit are life savers, but that can be hard to maintain. I can go months without forgetting to take my meds, but whenever my routine gets thrown off I have to then play damage control. I also use a habit tracker if there's something that I want to make sure I do. I end up not wanting to use them after a while or if I put too many things on it, but they help me start habits. Also all the boring difficult stuff like enough sleep, actually exercising, and not eating junk food all of the time.
