Yep. The attention you would receive from that is an unhealthy way your brain is trying to get dopamine.

I went through a phase like this before. I started having them in 8th Grade and I thought it really wasn't going to get better. Every time I would get those thoughts I would immediately go to my comfort person and talk to them and let them know whats going on. Always keep some friends close by who you know you can talk to when you're feeling like this

I don't know if it's normal or not, but it hasn't happened to me. I have had self harm behaviors in the past, though, but I think that was more depression related. I would suggest talking to a therapist, because that could help a lot.

Yes it is normal. Most people will have self harming thoughts and some may act on it and some won't.

Ahh so it IS a thing... I thought I was crazy and selfish when I felt like this 😅 well I'm glad it's normal at least

people with adhd usually have depression and anxiety because we feel different from everyone else.

I actually had an ex tell me that people with adhd and other learning disabilities shouldn't get the same diploma as everyone else. I was so pissed cuz we work harder than everyone else we are the same as them just slower.

I would say yes-- it's nothing to stress over
