Adjusting to New Dentures - Any Tips or Advice?

Eating is a challenge right now! I actually find it easier to chew some things without my lower denture LOL But I'm slowly getting the hang of it. When I get my permanent dentures, which will fit better, it'll get easier. Only nine months to go! 😄 Anyone else here new to having dentures? I had my teeth pulled in April. Until I got a softline three days ago, I didn't wear my lower one because it fit so badly. My upper denture is just another body part now, but I'm just starting to adjust to my lower one. Or, any veterans with advice?
