Advice for managing stress in a relationship with Dependent Personality Disorder

what helps me a lot is trying to communicate *everything* I'm feeling to my depended/partner, even things I think might be insignificant to her, because she does care and wants to help me feel more secure. rather than just expecting her to spend extra time with me or help with a decision, I ask her about it, tell her that I'm struggling and we work together to figure things out so that I don't isolate my own feelings and make myself feel worse. I still have a long way to go when it comes to independence but it's a journey and I'm learning!
