I started having stomach issues right after my oldest child was born, 8yrs ago, so absolutely, it’s possible.

This is how I found out. I think I may have always been and had tried many elimination diets prior to my 2nd pregnancy with no help for my Gerd. With my 2nd pregnancy it became very clear that the crackers they told me to keep near me all the time for nausea and the soups with wheat etc were the trigger. I actually stopped wheat during pregnancy and tried again after. Still was worse symptoms than I had before my daughter and 2 years later haven't improved. I'm sure looking back I was to some degree but both pregnancies seemed to worsen it with no decrease so far. Allergy testing confirmed gluten sensitivity. Ironically I should have guessed after my first born was allergic to wheat but somehow still overlooked it until I had a second child, who also happens to be allergic.
