I've been prescribed everything for anxiety and nothing really helped I'm trying to stay away from like the Xanax type meds yes they worked but I've had a past addiction problem and it's not worth it for me but I take ashwagandha by goli I chew 4 gummies a day and I've been doing really well maybe this can help you also ๐Ÿ˜Š

hi! Do they work? I got some Ashwaghanda but they made me have side effects maybe it was high dose. I was taking 350mg. I have bad anxiety and stress from catching COVID a few months ago .

I do a lot of holistic remedies as I can take most medications. First, caffeine and alcohol can spike anxiety. ESPECIALLY on an empty stomach. So I drink very little and if I do, I make sure I eat something first. Itโ€™s important to take magnesium supplements to restore proper levels in your system. Anxiety can deplete them and make you feel off. Thereโ€™s adrenal support supplements you can put in your water as well. I carry sour candies for sudden attacks. I ice my vagus nerve daily. (Which is just putting an ice pack on your chest area for 15-20 minutes a day.) and practice meditation and yoga. The honest guys on YouTube are very good for meditation and yoga with Adriene is good for yoga. I do my 7 non-negotiable a day to help: icing the vagus nerve, meditation, half my body weight in ounces of water (prolonged dehydration can contribute to anxiety and depression), make my bed and pick up trash from the day before, (itโ€™s good to have one small chore that make you feel productive even if you donโ€™t really do anything for that day) a walk or movement of some kind, (I have a few options that I like to choose from. Dance videos, walking, skating, yoga), taking supplements, and eating all my meals! Itโ€™s a little extra work if you canโ€™t/donโ€™t want medication but very worth it once you find what works for you!

DBT and CBT are hugely helpful! Also, pixelthoughts.co is a great website meditation. Tons of great, free apps for music/sounds or meditations, as well as YouTube. I like watching sand storytelling art for my anxiety ๐Ÿ˜Š.
