Alternative ways to manage PCOS without birth control pills?

with PCOS all I've been told is to take birth control pills, I want to know if there is any other way to manage my PCOS.. I have a high testosterone level. I also want to lose weight but birthcontrol may make me gain weight so I don't want to take it

I don't take birth control pills, but I have an IUD to help. i got it about 11 months ago and i'm still getting used to it. but i feel like it's been helping. it hasn't made me gain weight, either. I have the kyleena one

If you happen to have diabetes along with PCOS, treating the diabetes will help improve PCOS symptoms as well.

For high testosterone I was prescribed aldactone. I don’t know what your glucose levels are, but metformin can also help reduce weight with PCOS

Metformin has helped me lose weight! I added workouts and lost 8 pounds in three months. Maybe you can ask your doctor about adding Metformin to your birth control pills?

If you're on metformin drink lots of water. It can affect your kidneys
