You probably just know? It took me years to finally get it. I looked up the similarities between autism and ADHD and went from there and took a lot of different tests. If you think you are autistic you probably are

If you've done proper and thorough research on autism and what else your symptoms could be and still believe you have it, you're probably right!

Well start by checking the symptoms and matching them to what you experience, then look at the symptoms of any other nuerodiverse conditions that you may have like anxiety and compare those symptoms. I like to look for symptom venn diagrams since it categorizes and sorts things to show you what symptopms are shared. You can also take the RAADS-R test online to help get an idea about where you land on that scale.

People with autism can struggle with social, emotional, psychological and physical aspects. Everyone has it slightly different. Most autistic people I know really struggle socially and struggle to understand social cues or things like sarcasm and jokes. If you're questioning it, the best thing to do is speak to a professional. Google can be hit and miss with information. If you go to your doctor they can give you a sheet and refer you to an autism assessment if they feel like you need one x

In my experience, non-autistic people just don't just go around thinking they might autistic. If you have suspicions at all, even small ones, there's a good chance you are right

If you're learning about it from a range of actually autistic people and relate to a lot of their experiences, as well as matching the diagnostic criteria to some degree, that would sound pretty autistic to me :)
