Dealing with Anxiety about Mortality and Human Functions

Does anyone get extremely nervous/anxious/scared when anything about the human experience, mortality, human functions body functions, ect... are mentioned. I find myself getting panic/anxiety attacks or just becoming very scared when something of that sort is mentioned. I know that's it's due to the knowledge of mortality and no 100% answer to the life after death question. Does anyone know how to handle/lower the effect these things have on me? My pills dont seem to work for these things and I currently cant switch medications.

I feel like meds are the only thing helping that calm down for me but even with them it’s still like my biggest trigger just the life after death situation. Really triggers whenever I know someone who died or someone who just had a baby. Life experiences like those just trigger me into a spiral of anxiety but thankfully medicine makes it more manageable

I get the exact same way. I recently got a kitten to help with my anxiety and depression. Since he was so young it tended to trigger that visceral reaction of anxiety. Tha I you, I'll talk to my doctors about it :)

I do get existential dread anytime I think about how we can't live forever and it scares the hell out of me. So when that happens I try to go to a hobby or play a game that needs more thinking power on my phone to get my mind off of it.

I get digusted thinking about like medical conditions like (big bruises ) and stuff, but that's just because I'm scared of medical pictures. Ironically, I don't have much of a fear of death.
