i’ve never related more oh my gosh. people automatically label me as a “bitch”, but my anxiety comes out as anger and irritability.

Its easy to flare up. Youre basically in self-preservation mode, as if you have to fight a bear. I know the feeling well.

I'm going through this with my husband but he points out every time I do it and says a lot out of his own anger and I'm struggling so bad with it. I have no one to talk to anymore. I shut my family out completely to stand up for my marriage and now I'm sitting in my car alone so I don't bother him before he goes to work. Feeling rejected and so alone

Most definitely. I’m continually learning how to pick and choose my battles. Some days are good. Some days, I need to apologize.

Very much so, it typically starts as irritability because when I'm anxious I'm already at my mental capacity for the day so any additional frustrations are WAY harder to tolerate. I can be super quick to anger during these times and I feel horrible about it. My anger has gotten better with age but on bad days I'm definitely pretty snappy even when I don't want to be. I try very hard though.

i get irritated and become more blunt. i usually apologize later if i think it was too harsh but sometimes i can’t keep the lie or sugarcoating to myself anymore

I either retreat or snap on everyone. There’s no in between. Trying to control your anger is really hard, especially when it’s pent up rage over a few days. T
