Anxiety Attacks and Physical Symptoms

does anyone else get anxiety attacks, but they’re more physical than anything? like i get severe nausea and this fear that i am going to throw up, and the more i get anxious it’s surrounding the nausea

Yes, sometimes it gets that bad when it society. The best way I deal with it is getting myself pumped for social interaction. I get myself prepared for the environment I’m going into and any possible encounters I have. I also get myself in the most positive attitude I can muster up.

You're not alone. Nowadays my anxiety primarily manifests in the form of nausea, fatigue, and sometimes actually vomiting when it gets severe. It's not the same as racing thoughts or fear of dying, etc. but it's definitely not pleasant, either. Probably many of the same coping mechanisms will work. I tend to do well with creative writing.

Yes, and I have a diagnosis of conversion disorder. It’s a very common comorbidity, especially with CPTSD.

yes. i’ve had headaches, muscle twitches, nausea, dizziness, even numbness and tingling and burning sensations so bad i thought i was gonna have a seizure.
