Anxiety causing chest tightness and panic attacks

my anxiety has been causing me chest tightness for the last couple days and it got worse a moment ago when I got super super anxious and thought I was having a heart attack but it turned out to just be my panic attack. does this happen to any one else?

It can happen yeah. I recommend some anxiety medications if you can. I'm in buspar which isnt perfect but its been much better

yeah I'm on Clonazepam right now but I think I might need something different

Yes anxiety stress infact from our brains affects our bodies as in your chest and stomach appetit mood all that it's pretty awful :(

That happened to me around July 4th. I got some bad news and I geuss it's what led me to expirence my first panic attack and it sucked. Lowkey though I was dying.

This used to happen to me a lot! I got over it by saying I'm not having a heart attack, I am healthy and young or whatever would apply to you, unfortunately I did gain different symptoms after getting over that fear but hopefully it works for you as well. I can't tell you how many hospital trips I made before I got sick of it and started convincing myself I'm okay
