Anxiety about upcoming colonoscopy and endoscopy

I have a colonoscopy and endoscopy scheduled for Friday. I've had several colonoscopies and two endoscopies. Three years ago, I was having one and the doctor accidentally punctured my duodenum and I had to be rushed to emergency surgery. I'm experiencing anxiety about both the tests and results. Can anyone help me to get my mind eased about this?

Just because it happened once, doesn’t mean it’ll happen again. No matter the outcome, you will never be by yourself. You will have people to reach out to. You will perserve, and you will gain the stregth to be able to get through this. I believe in you, even if you do not have confidence in yourself.

The procedures went well and the doctor found polyps and did biopsies. I'm waiting on the results. Thank you all for caring! ❤️

Hi kindness 21! I’m also sorry for not being there when you were scared. It must have been terrifying to go through that again😣 hopefully the results will be good! Crossing fingers for you!
