I have noticed this when my anxiety is bad I start feeling confused for some reason. Part of it I think is because of the dissociation/depersonalization that I experience because of it. It’s a really scary feeling suddenly feeling confused as to what’s going on or where you are. I think maybe it’s something to do with a spike in cortisol or something?

I get really overwhelmed by everything like my brain is struggling to process my thoughts and the world around me, then I make mistakes and then more anxiety. Idk does anyone relate?

What i do when that happens is write down what im feeling and talk to someone!! it’s better to let out what your feelings rather than keep it in bc it will eventually build up and be more intense. hope this helps!!

I’ve definitely had the conversation with my therapist about how I’m supposed to tell if meds are causing confusion, because I feel confused most of the time. Really relate to the person who mentioned they get overwhelmed trying to process all the information in our environment. I know now that it’s just how my brain works because I’m autistic and ADHD, but that doesn’t always help make it feel any better to feel that way.

It makes it hard to think clearly. Then I get even more anxious because I can’t think lol. The cycle is too much 😣

Absolutely. Anxiety can make you feel completely lost.

It does for me because I don’t know what to trust. My fears are irrational and so sometimes they are so beyond that they don’t even make sense to me which can be confusing. I also have other conditions that cause confusion that are worsened by anxiety so it’s a fun lil loop.

I think it really depends on what season in life you are but from me that's every season so I guess yes lol.
