Dizziness and Nausea with Anxiety: Anyone Else?

does anyone get dizzy or stomach neasous when your anxiety up

Yes! Especially the stomach hurting/nauseous part. Just until recently I didn't know that it was my anxiety causing it. It is tough to cope with for sure.

yes it is specially when it wakes u up with stomach hunger pain and it's so intense at times u can't eat cause ur afraid your gonna throw up

Yeah it’s the worst, I would also get super shaky too. Make me feel like I need to sit down and breath, because I feel like I’ll pass out if I don’t

Yes! I was having a rough week last week and it was the most intense physical reaction I’ve had to a psychological situation. I had diarrhea & couldn’t eat anything & was nauseous.

I have been known to throw up on occasion from anxiety. My mother used to get bloody noses She got one at my brother's wedding 😂

I got a bloody nose one time and it freaked me out more cause I never have bloody noses

Fun fact: unless you are hyperventilating, you won't pass out from panic attacks! The neurons responsible for the process of passing out are actually in a completely different part of the brain than where your psychological symptoms driven by anxiety come from. Knowing this helps me not to panic.

My ENT said that I get vertigo because of stress induced migraines. Apparently you can have vertigo as your only symptom for migraines which I didn’t know. I notice when I’m really anxious I also get light headed and notice my breathing which makes me even more dizzy. Fun cycles. Haha and I’ve been having stomach issues since I was a kid. My doctor thinks I have IBS and that it’s also triggered from stress.

Actually about a month ago, I got so nauseous I vomited. That's when my psychiatrist put me on a new med. A benzo. Klonopin

Yea, I get nauseated sometimes. Other times, I get a tad dizzy and feel like I’ve blacked out for a moment.
