I'd say finding the coping skills that work better for the trigger that caused you anxiety could be a first step. For example, if I get anxious while teaching vs. anxious before sleeping, I'll use different coping skills, but at the beginning, I didn't know which would work better for me... so, in trying, I have found the coping skills that work for me the most. Ps: Unrelated, but reading "Needing to Know for Sure" has been helpful in understanding the root of my anxiety based on the situation that triggered them

Accept that anxiety is there don't fight against it. "It's okay to feel anxious it will pass" time to slow down and access your thoughts and feelings. More nurturing vs fighting against negative.
