I haven't had this experience personally, but have had partners where their depression meds made it difficult. Biggest culprit I've noticed is Venlafaxine. The guys seem to have the lack of sex drive, while mine has been a bit crazy and excessive. I can't attribute my experience directly to Venlafaxine, but it wouldn't surprise me.

Yes, benzo drugs and others may lower testosterone levels, which is linked to low sex drive.

Oh yes. Bye libido. And then add endo pain on top of that. I have found that sex for me isn’t so much about a “goal” but more just me enjoying seeing my partner enjoy themselves?? Ya know? And also a lot more responsive desire than an initial desire.

i used to and it was one main reason i got off (lol) of them 3 years ago. i am considering again but waffling cause sex keeps me grounded and in my body so it’s hard to give up that tool.

It can make it harder to get into it, or to initiate sex. I have to focus on calming my anxiety before or while I start foreplay, starting slow let's me get there.

Wellbutrin, trazodone, and mirtazapine have not affected me sexually. Sertraline and escitalopram were terrible for me.

Prozac and the pill killed my sex drive. I recently stopped Prozac for a variety of reasons even though it was doing its job and this was one of those reasons.
