Anxiety or POTS? Why You Should Speak to Your Doctor

Just a thought after watching a few videos of others on YouTube. If you have been diagnosed with anxiety I think you should speak with your doctor if you have symptoms of POTS. I’ve learned that POTS is often misdiagnosed as anxiety. In fact most people with an anxiety diagnosis actually have POTS. Try the tilt table test on yourself and then speak with your doctor if it seems to be more than anxiety. Yes you can have both because POTS can give you anxiety.

I always told my doctors that I don't have anxiety, I only have anxiety because of my symptoms. I have also been trying to tell them I have POTs for 4 years and I finally got diagnosed this year.

I never really paid attention to my symptoms as being POTS because everything I ever bring up to my doctors is always “fibromyalgia”… once I got that fibromyalgia diagnosis literally everything I ever mentioned was just because of fibromyalgia.. until this year
