Looking for Support with Anxiety and Panic Attacks

I struggle with anxiety, panic disorder, and depression on a daily basis but my biggest problem right now is anxiety/panic attacks. I have suffered with this condition for many many years. Im 40 years old, married and I have two children. My husband works while I stay home with our boys. I couldn't work if I wanted to because of the severity of my anxiety so I barely leave the house. I want to connect with others who understand what I'm going through and who are supportive, kind, and caring.

Can you help? Connect today

Hi there! You’re at the right spot for support! I also suffer from anxiety/panic. One thing I’ve been trying to do everyday is listen to positive affirmations every day on YouTube ❤️ it’s good to have helpful reminders that we aren’t just our anxiety ❤️

I feel most comfortable working from home, I found a awesome work from home job. It would also be difficult for me to go out and work ❤️

Hello I understand what you are going through. My anxiety has gotten worse especially when I am at work. I am mostly alone. And I'm the only girl. There are times that I don't want to go to work especially when I'm on my period my anxiety gets too high. And I have depression. What works for me, going for a walk, breathing, yoga and meditation and painting. 😊

Yep. I’ve had anxiety for as long as I can remember. I have been writing down and watching what makes it worse. Trying to literally live in the moment. I stay productive. That helps. Even if it’s just organizing one drawer or one spot on the counter. For me, with my a.d.d. & diagnosed ocd, being productive and accomplishing small things feel good. Every one is different but it’s good we can remember that others understand.

I couldnt understand why I was so scared to go to work with having add n depression made it so hard. But I am so hard on myself for not being more productive. I feel like a loser.

Please don't feel like way. Depression can take a tool on your mental health takes baby steps to a better mental health. Try using tools like yoga, breathing exercise, take a walk and meditation. Whatever works for you. Try to ground yourself. 😊

I understand. Home is my safe space. I was a lot like you when my kids were small. I did work with a therapist to help me develop coping skills.
