Asthma and Menstruation: Does Anyone Else Experience This?

To all the other bio-females with asthma, is it just me or does your asthma get worse when it's that time of the month?

Yes! It’s even worse after I’ve cried as well which doubles all the garbage.

Personally I don't prefer the term "bio-females" because someone who might have gone on hormones might no longer be 100 percent biologically female anymore. But I haven't. I prefer the term AFAB or assigned female at birth. It's harder for me to tell now since my periods have been very short because of being on birth control. My asthma had gotten a bit worse since I've had COVID at least once. I'm pretty sure I might have long COVID as well, but I don't want to take off work for it. As long as I can still work, I'm fine. It's not like I have a incubator or something. I might be a bit winded after walking up a few flights of stairs occasionally, so I do feel like I need an emergency puff after that. Can't say how I feel around the time of the month though. Sorry.
