I use to stand up and take big slow breaths. I keep my breathing slow by counting to myself in a steady rhythm.

i like to use the square breathing methoid, where you breathe in, hold for 4 seconds, breathe out, hold for 4 seconds. i find that focusing on my breathing helps give me better control, expecially when counting my breaths

I’ve never heard of Buteyko exercises but now I’m excited to learn about something new! pinkp0p mentioned square breathing which I like. I’ve also found standing in a tripod position and taking long, deep breaths super helpful. In through the nose, out as slowly as possible through the mouth!
