Dealt with the same thing and got a lot of good suggestions Toothbrush: there are brushes with softer bristles(I found mine at Walmart), you can use a water pick if that works better for you, there disposable tooth brushes with toothpaste in them for fatigue or forgetting to brush, for braces there are little brush/pics for getting under the wires Toothpaste: kids toothpastes have milder and varied flavors so can find one you like, charcoal and baking soda toothpastes foam less, xylitol toothpastes is sweet and help prevent tooth decay , and you can go without toothpaste because brushing off plaque regularly is the most important part Misc.: Nonalcoholic mouthwashes still work but sting less(I use Therabreath), flossers are easiest, for braces there these floss strings with hardened ends to make threading easier, there is xylitol candy that helps prevent tooth decay These are the main ones I remember, I brush when the build up starts bothering me without toothpaste and then use mouthwash and I’ve been wanting to try xylitol gum to see how that works. You’ve got this! Try stuff to see what works for you, and just what you can. Good luck!

I switched to the vibrating u shaped “brushes”. They have plastic nubs that clean ur teeth instead of the classic bristles
