saaammmeeee! I feel like it happens to me more than it does other people i eat with. Its not just that my nose runs if its spicy- it happens with a lot of foods.

Omg ... I thought it was just me ... I absolutely didn't know this was a thing !!! I don't have allergies but my sinuses are always draining and as with you after eating sometimes drinking it is more excessive

like the saliva in your throat when you have to clear your throat to properly breath or speak

absolutely. So much is left to learn. I'm constantly amazing by the subtle things I thought were quirks that are actually "symptoms". Or in the least, differences

I absolutely feel this!! I'm 36 & ever since I can remember, dairy, sugar & things with lots of preservatives will all cause sinus drainage for me. I also had sickly, disgusting tonsils til I was 17; then I finally got them removed. It's cut down on (but not eliminated) the almost yearly strep throat, but it didn't do anything for the amount of phlegm/sinus drainage I get from eating & drinking. Also, my body suddenly decided it was lactose intolerant at 35, last year. 😑

This usually happens to me when I eat hotter foods (temperature wise, not necessarily spicy). It's not in my mouth but in my throat or chest. I've never known why.
