Bad Reaction to Vaccines

So I got 2 vaccines yesterday and I’ve been in bed all day sick as all get out. Thankfully I’m able to have a few bites of food now but goodness! I’ve never reacted that bad to any kind of vaccine! Has anyone else had reactions like that?

Absolutely! Vaccines initiate an immune response so it’s totally normal to feel sick afterwards. Some can cause worse symptoms than others, but that’s normal too! Just take it easy and let your body rest :)

Every time I get a vaccine I have a fibromyalgia flare up. Give your body time to rest and don’t try to overdo it. I know easier said than done! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

I had an absolutely horrid response to the most recent vaccine I had. I could barely walk for days, my pain was so bad! Sounds like you had a similar response. Take it easy until your body recovers, I hope you feel better soon!

I got the covid Moderna vaccine as a booster with the flu shot at the same time In the same arm and ended up with “Covid arm” reaction and about three days of light fevers and exhaustion. Remember half the way the vaccines work is by making your body think it has the virus and increasing the immune response to the small amount of inactive virus they inject that you will develop enough antibodies to keep you safe. If you already have a strong immune system the stuff that makes the reaction stronger can just make you feel sicker than most for a few days because you where already ready to mount a strong response. Just rest and let your immune system work and be glad your getting the antibodies if that’s how strong you react to the virus.
