Looking for Better Medication Options

Hi, I’ve been on a lot of medication and I’ve been off of them for over a month and my main issues was I was taking so many with little improvements and the side effects outweighing the little help they were doing. My question is what are my options for possibly finding overall better medicine

Autism isn't something that can be medicated for - it's a form of neurodivergence. Although ADHD can be controlled with medications due to the fact that neurotransmitters cause symptoms, autism has no clear cause, and the leading theory has to do with cell type ratios in the brain. So it's no wonder that no medications have been overly effective - autism's negative symptoms aren't things which can be managed via medications. Rather, therapy would be needed to target specific distressful symptoms.

Alikeme makes a great point. I would make a list of complaints and talk to a trusted doctor and maybe look up ways to do it naturally if you are into that stuff.... For example, I found this tea lemonade recipe that is supposed to help with ADHD but it helps with anxiety. Mostly because it wasn't the best in taste so I focused on that but picky can't be choosy lol.
