I've never met anyone else who has it on both sides. My neurologist says its rare but I don't know.....

I have bilateral. I had MVD on the right side in 2021. Right now I'm in a pain clinic taking Oxycodone for the left side but I'll be having MVD on the left side within the next few weeks.

I have bilateral occasionally but mostly on the right side. I also have migraines almost continuously. I never knew that the tenderness at the top of my head was a migraine. My new neuro just told me that's what it is. I take Cymbalta daily, and when I have a TN flare-up, I take tramadol and gabapentin. This combo really helps.
