Are Intense Mood Swings Normal for Bipolar Disorder?

Is constant mood swings normal for bipolar disorder? Like not episodes but intense mood swings throughout the day?

I'd like to know. I typically associate them with Borderline Personality Disorder, but I have both.

I have this constantly it feels like whiplash. My doctor said it’s wasn’t unusual but not used as really diagnosis criteria like the other mood issues- actual episodes associated with bipolar are. I’m not sure how normal it is for bipolar though.

It really depends on which kind you have. The best thing to do is track your moods and any triggers you notice and speak to your doctor.

Yes with bipolar disorder it's completely normal the thing to do is to take remedies like cbd... that's just my take on it, that's also what helps me
