Hi there, have you mentioned this to your doctor? If so, what did they say?

i've been in your shoes and technically i still am. i'm freshly 18 and i've been dealing with these issues since the 5th grade, only getting diagnosed in 9th and formally diagnosed this year after an "invasive procedure" they refused to perform because i was "too young". it definitely sucks especially during my period as well. and i also definitely feel as though doctors don't take us younger people with this condition seriously bc we are so young but all we can do it hope for some relief. but if the periods are bothering your IC definitely talk to an ob/gyn. i have endometriosis and ic and sometimes they can work together to make that time of the month hell for you. i really hope you get it all figured out bc we're in the same boat rn

1tsp of baking soda into water and drink it. Double dose if needed.
