I've been on Metformin ER 1400 mg for years. Started Jardiance about a year ago. Blood glucose is hovering around 220. Hanging in there. Good morning!

I've been in 200s for quite some time. Starting to see 100s at times since starting the Ozempic. Been fighting the insurance since last year to get the Ozempic. So far, so good.

I couldn't tolerate Metformin. Gave me nausea and bad diarrhea. I have Invokana and victoza. Dropped my A1C from 11 to 8! Now my new doctor wants to switch me to Ozempic. We'll see how that goes!

@bokani they told me at Walgreens that ins. wants you to try something else first. .but then your doc can fill out some form requesting a switch and ins. should cover it. Now if I could just get my Badgercare to cover a freestyle libre!!!

When I saw my primary for the first time, she took me off Metformin, cause it's hard on the kidneys. I have bilateral kidney disease.Id been on it by then years and by that time my ki don't function was down to 27. I'd never take Metformin again. She put me on ozempic. It was great but as time progressed,I was take of that. I've not been on any diabetic meds since Feb of this year.Thank God!!!
