How to Control Blood Pressure with Food Choices

I'd like to get off the meds and take control of my blood pressure with food choices. What do I eat and how do I ween off the meds.

Just have to have low sodium diet.

What do you mean we can't get off meds until we find out what causing the hypertension, how do we find the cause🤷‍♀️

Secondary hypertension can be a secondary condition of an underlying problem. For example heart problems or kidney problems. In these cases one must consult a proper doctor to deal with the those conditions before taking upon yourself to stop BP meds. Primary (Essential) hypertension means doctors don’t know what’s causing the the high blood pressure. They give us different BP meds until one or more meds work. Also hypertension could be a symptom of anxiety or fear or weight or too much sodium in diet. First figure out what’s causing hypertension and then deal with the cause before stopping meds.
